Macsen McKay

Macsen is an experienced actor, having worked with both able bodied and disabled theatre companies. Macsen most recently appeared in S4C’s KEEPING FAITH.

His stage credits include OUR COUNTRY’S GOOD and NOWHERE for University of the West of England’s Drama Society, THREE PARTS ICED OVER for Striking Attitudes, A CHILD’S CHRISTMAS IN WALES at the Torch Theatre for UCAN Productions and PALAIS DU DANCE at the Sherman Theatre, also for UCAN. He appeared in BOY SOLDIER by Kaite O’Reilly as part of the ‘d’ Monologues at the Unity Festival at Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff, National Theatre Studio London and at Disability Pride Cardiff.

As a Member of Sherman Cymru Youth Theatre, Macsen has performed in DRESSING UP TOO, KONTAKT and OEDIPUS | ANTIGONE.

Macsen is a member of Disability Art Cymru’s Unusual Stage School, and performed in their adaptation of Aristophane’s BIRDS at Sherman Cymru. He has also participated in workshops and performed at Disability Arts Cymru’s seminars.

Macsen is a fluent Welsh speaker.
