Emily was born in Cardiff and raised in Swansea and attended a Welsh Medium School. She has been an active member of her local theatre group “West Glamorgan Youth Theatre” since the age of 14 and has regularly performed with them. Her stage performances include “Blood Wedding” and “Blue Stockings”. She also played the role of “Debbie” in Billy Elliot The Musical at the Princess Royal Theatre, in London’s West End at the age of 11 as part of The National Billy Youth Theatre.
She is a great lover of Shakespeare, completing a workshop course at RADA.
She studied Performing Arts where she learnt to sing and perform different forms of dance including ballet, Jazz and Contemporary dance. At her final year she studied children’s theatre as part od her final syllabus where she played the main role of the ugly duckling in ‘Honk! The Musical’ where she toured schools.
Emily’s television credits include playing the role of ‘Stacey’ in the S4C drama Gwaith/Cartref and being featured as a pupil in the BBC production Class.
Emily enjoys challenging herself with different dialects, skills and accents and recently played the role of an Australian character in a children’s animation.
