Emily began performing after performing the role of “Debbie” in BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL at the Princess Royal Theatre, in London’s West End at the age of 11 as part of the Billy Youth Theatre.
She was an active member of her local theatre company ‘West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Company’ since a young age and regularly performed with them ever since, tackling a variety of different roles in plays.
She trained at Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company in London and has performed pieces in both the Edinburgh Fringe festival and Camden Fringe Festival.
She studied Performing Arts at Gower College Swansea where she learnt to sing and perform different forms of dance including ballet, Jazz and Contemporary dance. In her final year she studied children’s theatre, and played the lead role in HONK! THE MUSICAL, which toured around schools.
Her television credits include S4C drama GWAITH/CARTREF and BBC’s CLASS. She featured in the short film THE TICK AND THE BOMB and provided the voice for an Australian character in children’s animation, LUO BAO BEI.
She can also be seen as Mia in Channel 4’s THE ACCIDENT, written by Jack Thorne.
Emily is a fluent Welsh speaker.
